DATS Being Acquired by Bingo Industries

National Recycling Group Acquired by Bingo Industries

The board of National Recycling Group has entered into a binding agreement to sell the company which includes DATS Environmental Services and Melbourne Recycling Centres to Bingo Industries. The sale will be completed on 8 January 2018.

The combined companies will now be able to deliver a complete end-to-end waste solution to the market with further plans and ability to grow services, facilities, and into more regions in Australia.

“I would like to acknowledge everyone who has worked and supported the business over the past 25 years. I started this business with Kent Grundy 25 years ago from very humble beginnings on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Today, the business is a leading waste collections and recycling business in Sydney and Melbourne to the construction sector. We are a business with 55 trucks, 3,200 bins, a transfer station and RRC (Melbourne Recycling Centre) that is capable of processing 500,000+ tonnes of waste per annum,” Scott Crosweller, Managing Director National Recycling Group and founder DATS.

“Growth and expansion saw the merger of all brands into National Recycling Group in 2015 which brought further capital to the group for growth and profitability.”

The NRG Board and I are aware that our customers and prospects seek cost effective, innovative and advanced waste solutions. The acquisition of NRG provides Bingo with immediate scale and service depth to achieve this.
